I was inspired to become a personal trainer after my mother passed away due to cancer. I decided that I wanted to help people improve their health and live better, happier, and more productive lives. I love helping my clients succeed!
As a heath and fitness educator, I am certified by the National Association of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist. My primary objective is to help people have a healthier and more satisfying lifestyle through proper nutrition and exercise.
Many people don’t realize that the personal trainers at most health clubs are not certified and have had very little if any training specific to their work. I invested the time and effort to become certified as a personal trainer and corrective exercise specialist so I could give my clients the benefit of the best knowledge in my field of health and fitness education.
In business on the North Shore since 2008, I work with women, men, and children of all ages to help them reach their goals. My clients include working professionals, kids in school, competitive athletes, and retirees, all of whom are seeking to improve their health and fitness level.
Whether you have a desk job that leaves you feeling stressed and tired, a specific goal such as losing weight to prepare for an important occasion, or want to help your child excel in school, my proven methods will enable you to succeed.
I start with a comprehensive fitness assessment and introductory workout. This one hour session is free of charge for prospective new clients. It will give you an opportunity to talk about what you want to accomplish and to ask any questions you may have.

I train my clients at our private studio in downtown Glencoe. I target my services to people living within about 10 miles. If you prefer, I also offer in-home training for nearby clients (within about 3 miles).
My greatest satisfaction comes from seeing my clients reach and exceed their goals. I want my clients to have a great workout every time they come in for a session.
Some of my clients just want to lose weight while others have different goals, such as toning their bodies, increasing strength and flexibility, or improving their stamina to compete in sports. Everyone is different and has different needs, which is why having a personal trainer is so effective. I also address nutritional needs, because having a good diet is one of the most important things you can do to improve your fitness level.
I offer discounts for those who buy a package of training sessions. Ask about this during your fitness assessment or when you come in for training.
I recommend that prospective clients consider distance and travel time when choosing a personal trainer. You don’t want to be spending too much time commuting back and forth to the gym; otherwise it will be difficult for you to commit to an effective training program. Most of my clients live within a 10 mile radius of my studio.
